di-da GSD Companions (fka di-da Kennels)

Written Friday 5 June 2009 and sent to owners-in-wait:

The 1st girl was born last night around 22:20. By sunrise we had 4 girls and 3 boys. All appear very healthy and wiggly, with good coloring and healthy sounding squeaks. 

Dakota is doing wonderful with them. We gave her a cup of plain yogurt, which she thought was great. I'm going to pickup some vanilla ice cream next as I'm told these and cottage cheese are good for both Dakota and the pups to provide extra calcium for growing strong bones.  

It was an eventful and tiring evening and morning for myself and Dakota, and my daughters. We are overcome with wonderful feelings. Some of the memorable stories will be added over the next days, plus pictures ... !
